NO AFTERNOON OR EVENING PROGRAMMING IN HONOR OF MOTHER'S DAY! One of the tenderest chords that vibrates in the human heart is the one that is touched by the thought of Mother. Not just because she is a biological necessity. There are other reasons: her tender care in sickness and in health, her dedicated protection day and night, her deepest concern that knows neither clock nor calendar, her unwavering confidence in her child though the child blunders. In her eyes, every son is a king and every daughter a queen. No sacrifice is too great for a mother to make, and her self-denials are legend. Her rocking chair is the world’s most effective schoolroom. Only one other earthly blessing is comparable to having a good and godly mother – a good and godly father. Blessed is the child who has both! HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! |
