Psalm 33:3 "Sing unto the Lord a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise!"

The Extreme happens at Cornerstone on Wednesdays between 6:45 and 8:30pm. It is a combination of several events and activities designed to encourage and help all Christians, particularly youth and young adults, become maturing disciples of Jesus Christ. It combines modern rock music with lessons, games and discussion to accomplish this. Youth in grades 6-12 are especially encouraged to attend.

The Extreme begins at 6:45pm with a conversing and fellowship time. The Extreme Worship Experience (EWE) begins at 7pm. This is ultra-contemporary (modern rock) praise and worship music combined with a Biblical lesson aimed specifically at issues facing today's young people. All ages are invited to attend the Extreme Worship Experience.

Immediately following EWE the youth leaders of Cornerstone lead a time of discussion (youth only). This time is used to address any questions the lesson may have brought out and to lead to deeper understanding of the major points of the lesson. After discussion, youth may participate in games, fellowship, or further discussion.

Worship Rave

On the second Wednesday of every month The Extreme becomes a Worship Rave. At Worship Raves the Extreme Worship Experience is extended, and in place of lesson and discussion, refreshments are served. Worship turns into a party. Everyone is invited to attend the whole Worship Rave. This is an excellent opportunity for parents to attend with the youth and to bring friends of all ages to our worship party.
